Gear
A first class needs a water bottle and clothes you can move in. This is what comes after.

Cotton wraps protect your wrists and knuckles. We lend a pair for your first class, then you keep your own.

Boxing gloves for bag work and pads. Your coach will help you choose a pair that fits once you've trained a few times.

Gloves, shin guards and a mouthguard, for light sparring after your first month. Nothing here is needed for your first class.

We hold the pads for you and provide the shields and heavy bags. Bring a water bottle and a small towel.
Coaches
Three coaches share the schedule. Every one is on the mat for the classes they lead.

Owner and head coach
Leads the Muay Thai and MMA classes and every light sparring round. Speaks English and Tagalog.

Coach, grappling
Runs the grappling classes, the teens' grappling lane and Friday's open mat. Speaks English.

Coach, boxing and teens
Teaches the early boxing and pad work and the teens' striking classes. Speaks English.
Questions
Adult classes are for ages 18 and up. Teens train in their own classes from age 13 to 17. We don't have classes for younger children.
No. Every class has a coach who watches new people, and you work at your own pace. Plenty of people start with no experience.
A plain t-shirt and shorts or leggings without pockets or zippers, and clean bare feet on the mat. We can lend wraps and gloves for the first class. The first-class page lists the rest.
A warm-up, a technique or two shown by the coach, drills with a partner on pads or on the mat, and a short round at the end that you can skip until you're ready.
Nobody spars in their first weeks. Light sparring opens to students after their first month, with gloves, shin guards and a mouthguard, and each round is set to the lightest contact in the pair. Say stop and your partner stops.
Yes. Come in during any class and watch from the viewing area. Parents of teens are welcome there too.
Try a class, meet your coach and see the mat. Come as you are.
